Nothing, attendance is free! If you are worried about paying for transportation or any other associated costs, fill out this form and attach receipts to be reimbursed.  

We are organizing housing and will assign you to a campsite, local house or airbnb based on your stated preferences on the application. We will do our best to take your needs into consideration! You will receive your housing assignment by email 1-2 weeks prior to the event.

Nope, beginners are welcome! But if you would like to read up on any topic(s) ahead of time, check out the Resources page (you will be given access after your application is approved, keep an eye out for an email in February!) These resources will also be available after the event so you can continue your educational journey!

• From somewhere in California: carpool or Amtrak.
• From somewhere outside California: roadtrip or fly into Oakland International Airport and take public transportation or request a pickup.
• If you would like travel assistance, let us know on your application or contact us directly.

Yes! We will have plant-based breakfasts, lunches and dinners provided by Direct Action Everywhere (DXE). Feel free to bring your own snacks as well. Please let us know your dietary needs on your application so we can plan accordingly.

Yes, please let us know which days you are able attend on your application so we can plan accordingly. Note that some trainings are multiple days long.
